These group sessions offer a collaborative environment for parents and carers to share experiences and learn strategies for supporting children with mental health difficulties . The sessions provide psychoeducational content tailored to common challenges, focusing on understanding working diagnoses and practical interventions. Groups run once per month, each support group is specific to a particular difficulty such as anxiety, ADHD, or Autism.
Participants are welcome to join at any point, and able to join more than one group.
All groups are conducted virtually.
Our skills building workshop is specifically designed for caregivers of children, adolescents and young people experiencing mental health challenges. This interactive workshop equips caregivers with practical coping skills and strategies to support the mental health and well-being of their loved ones. Led by experienced mental health nurses, the workshop covers essential techniques such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and effective communication. Participants will gain valuable insights and tools to create supportive environments at home and in other settings. This workshop fosters resilience and enhances caregivers' ability to navigate and address mental health challenges effectively.
Available both online for individual parents and carers, and for organisations such as schools and social care to book either virtually or face-to-face for groups of parents and caregivers they support, (additional costs may occur).
